Fewer Wires and Faster Wins with the ES100
When Elk Rapids School District in Michigan set out to improve security across its facilities, leaders needed a solution that could be deployed quickly without disrupting daily learning.
The HES ES100 Series Wireless Electric Strike was selected to extend access control to more doors without the complexity of traditional wired systems. Working with their installation partner, Elk Rapids successfully upgraded 167 classroom and staff doors across multiple buildings.
With the ES100 wireless technology, installers avoided running conduit and wiring through door frames, which significantly reduced installation time and labor. Once familiar with the system, technicians were able to complete 10–15 doors per person per day, helping the district complete the project efficiently.
The result is a scalable, centrally managed access control system that improves safety for students and staff while minimizing disruption to learning.
