Dear Members,

Registration for the 2024 Industry Advancement Summit is well underway. The early numbers look great for the first time in Nashville. We are past the anniversary celebrations and back to traditional activities that members have looked forward to over the years. We kick off the Summit with our annual golf tournament at the Gaylord Springs Golf Links. Our registration day will continue with the yearly Running of the Bulls and close out on the Embassy Suites rooftop with live music, food, open bar and views of downtown Nashville. The Ben Silver Seminar brings us NASCAR championship Pit Crew Coach, Matt Clark. He will help us learn how to measure what matters, something we can benefit from. The rest of the week will offer numerous networking opportunities and open evenings to explore the many local restaurants with fellow SHDA members. We will be trying something different to end the conference on Thursday with the Board and Committee meeting for dinner, which will free up Friday for travel home. I want to thank those who have supported SHDA with our sponsorship packages. There’s still time to take advantage of these great opportunities. The Security Hardware Distributors Association (SHDA) is pleased to announce the winner of the annual Al Hoffman Memorial Scholarship. This year’s winner is Courtney Morgan, who serves as the branch manager for IDN's Raleigh location. The award will cover the registration costs to attend the four-day University of Innovative Distribution (UID) program presented by the Association Education Alliance in cooperation with Purdue University.
